The SteadyKat Privacy Promise
We built SteadyKat to be a productivity tool, not a data collector. We know you trust your AI chats with sensitive thoughts, complex code, and private research.
SteadyKat only interacts with the specific content you choose to capture and index. We do not read your entire chat history or run any background activity.
We store only the absolute essentials needed to jump back to a specific point: the URL, the page title, your personal tags, and the exact scroll coordinate. Nothing more.
All your bookmarks are synced to your private account via an encrypted connection to our secure Supabase (Postgres) database, hosted on AWS us-west-2. Row-Level Security means no other user can see your data.
We do not use your indexed records to train AI models. Your data is used strictly for your own personal knowledge index — period.
Want to leave? You can delete your account and wipe your entire history from our servers. Your data belongs to you, not us.
